This site is being used to demonstrate EngagementHQ to clients. The
site is populated with illustrative material and most comments and
community content is invented for the purposes of illustrating the
platform. It is also worth noting that we have switched on all of the
functionality for the software on one page. In reality we would never
recommend this because it may be completely overwhelming for the viewer.
Feel free to sign up and have a play with the functions of the site.

Use the Survey Tool to obtain discrete private feedback from your community in the context of an information rich site.
By using the embedded survey tool in preference to third-party off-site surveys you achieve a number of goals: You keep your participant on your consultation site; you surround your question set with lots of rich information so that they are better informed prior to answering your questions; you avoid downloading reports from multiple applications; you have access to the comment analysis functionality of EngagementHQ.

Smart Forums encourage intelligent dialogue and debate
The Smart Forum is generally used for projects when the communication goal includes active community discussion of the issues. We call them Smart Forums, rather than dumb forums, for lots of reasons. You can surround the forum with lots of information to give it real context and embed rich content.

Guestbook for straightforward feedback on higher risk projects
The Guestbook tool is useful for higher risk projects where the conversation is more likely to go off-track or for projects where the communication goal is to 'consult' rather than 'involve' the community. It can also be used as a feedback tool for informational projects. The Guestbook tool allows you to choose to have comments pre or post moderated according to the risk profile of your organisation and the project.

Onsite Qualitative Analysis
EngagementHQ has a built in oniste qualitative analysis system to help you get to grips with all of the comments you receive via the forums, guestbook, emails and formal submissions. The comment tagging system allows you to label each comment with as many tags as required to describe its contents. You can then print of reports for individual key words and distribute those to the pertinent members of your team.

Onsite Quantitative Reporting
The onsite activity reports are designed specifically to help you interpret the community engagement outcomes of your project. You can both the breadth and depth of community engagement around your issues as well as the level of debate within the community itselft. You can also easily see who your main contributors are, where your main contributors live, their age groups, sex or any other demographic question you have asked in the sign up process. You can download the report to a PDF document or Excel spreadsheet.

The newsfeed is a simple blogging tool to help you keep your stakeholders informed about the comings and goings of your project or projects. It can be used simply to provide an outline of new projects or project updates, or alternately it can be used to dig into the "hot" issues that you are hearing about through your consultation processes. You might, for example, want to invite guest bloggers to talk about specific issues. Or you could give your "place managers" the opportunity to talk about issues a little more personally to give your projects a more human feel.

Use the Submission Tool to gather formal submissions where it is important that you have the personal details of the stakeholder
The Submission Tool is a straightforward application that allows your community stakeholders to fill in their personal details and write their submission directly into your consultation site. They can also upload supporting information in a variety of file formats. Submissions are captured in the onsite reporting framework ensuring that nothing gets losts and making archiving easy.
